Brilliant - Chobham is getting a new bike shop
Andrew and Paul started Brilliant Bikes selling spares and accessories on the Internet five years ago. Now they are opening a shop in Chobham, which is where they live, in the old Flora Lou shop int he High Street, next door to What Nots.
Chobham surgery closed for up to three months after flood
Restoration work has started at Chobham Surgery after the flooding caused by a burst pipe on Sunday June 30th.
It's happening in Chobham this summer
Chobham Museum is open every Wednesday, from 2pm till 4pm and Sunday from 11am to 4pm. St Lawrence School's 200th anniversary, the Conquest of Everest and the Birth of the European Union are some of the current themes. The World War 1 exhibition is being assembled.
Brass and steel
"A Concert for Ellie" will be a wonderful and varied evening of music to raise money for Helen House Hospice for Children when Chobham St Lawrence Handbells meet the Pandemonium Steel Band.
The concert is at St Lawrence Church on Saturday 29th June at 7.30pm.

Helen House
Helen House hospice the first hospice in the country to offer care specifically for children and young people. As well as raising funds for the hospice, this concert is in memory of Ellie who spent her last few weeks in Helen House Hospice in Oxford.

Chobham has taken the first steps towards creating a Neighbourhood Plan so that local people can have a say about how Chobham will look and function in the future.
The bunting is out - it must be carnival time
The Bunting is out the length of the High Street, the road closure signs are in place, Chobham citizens are being rounded up for stewarding and collecting bucket duty - it can mean only one thing. Chobham Carnival is imminent and preparations are in full spate now for the May Bank Holiday village festivities on Monday 6th May.
